the categories here really bug me, why cant it be both traditional and digital?

its one of my first uses of digital elements in my art. rather than the digital posing as traditional, and vice versa, i wanted to make it clear that both elements are important for what they are.

I wonder that too, actually ... really, my illustrations are half digital and half traditional, but I always bung 'em under digital, as they look so obviously digitally coloured :|
I'm not a fan of the DA categorisation system much :(

thats a really lovely mix of two very different mediums, I think because it is such a contrast in shape/texture/colour along w ith the fact its two differnt mediums, makes it really effective. Its like you've brought out the qualities in them and out them togetgher, and it makes for a really emotional and interesting compositiong :) awesome stuff :)
